Stay Safe: Sign Up for UCSF WarnMe Alerts
Your safety is our priority. UCSF’s WarnMe alert system provides timely notifications to keep our
community informed during emergencies. The UCSF Emergency Notification System (ENS),
WarnMe, delivers campus-wide alerts, and will now include notifications specific to the ZSFG
campus.
We strongly encourage UCSF faculty, staff, and learners at ZSFG to take a few minutes today to
ensure your UCSF Directory contact numbers are all up to date. For additional details and to sign up
or update info, please visit here.
When WarnMe is used:
- Life-threatening situations
- Emergency updates in real time
- Aid instructions after events like earthquakes
- Occasional system test drills (clearly labeled)
“All-clear” notices for trained UCSF members
All information is strictly confidential and will not be shared outside UCSF.
To ensure you receive WarnMe alerts, add or update your preferred contact numbers in the
UCSF Directory in the ‘Work Desk Phone (for Calls)’ and/or ‘Cell Phone (for SMS)’ sections, which
can be set to ‘Private.1. Click "Edit My Record” and log in to MyAccess.
2. Visit this link for more information on updating your Directory Contact Record.
ZSFG and DPH maintain a separate alert system for emergency notifications
specific to the ZSFG campus. As a short-term solution, UCSF Enterprise Emergency Management
(EEM) has partnered with ZSFG to send ZSFG-specific emergency notifications via WarnMe,
which will then be relayed to our UCSF at ZSFG faculty and staff community. If you have any
questions, please contact your department manager for assistance.
Stay connected to ensure you receive timely updates that help keep you and our community safe.
