The ZSFG Dean’s Seminar Series is an initiative created by Sue Carlisle, MD, PhD, former Vice Dean, UCSF School of Medicine at ZSFG, to promote interaction and collaboration between the ZSFG researchers and research groups.
The Dean’s Seminar Director facilitates presentations representing a breadth of research studies in basic sciences, bench-to-bedside, and clinical studies, to encourage research discussions and collaborations that will lead to innovations in medical research and clinical benefit.
Members of the research community at ZSFG and those interested in research are encouraged to attend.
Dean’s Seminars normally occur on the first Friday of every month from noon to 1:00pm on the 5th floor of Building 3, Room 505, unless otherwise indicated. Lunch is offered with advanced RSVP. The seminar is followed by 30 minutes for additional questions and networking. The series normally goes on hiatus during the summer months from July-September.
